(4 Year Old Program)

The NC Pre-K Program seeks to provide high-quality educational experiences that enhance school readiness for eligible four-year-olds. By concentrating on five key developmental domains—approaches to play and learning, emotional and social development, physical development, language development and communication, and cognitive development—the program ensures that children are well-prepared for success in reading and math. This holistic approach supports children's overall well-being and lays a solid foundation for their future educational journey.

To apply, your student must be four years old by August 31, 2025. You will need to meet certain eligibility requirements based on age, income, or specific needs. For more information, visit
